About the Band:

Virginia Sweet is an exciting, up-and-coming southern rock band. Taking influence from classic legends such as The Allman Brothers, Black Sabbath, Pearl Jam, and Stone Temple Pilots, they blend together the best of classic rock and modern 90’s rock to create their own unique sound.

The band was formed in the middle of 2020, during the pandemic, and consists of Jason Dove (vocals and bass), Jason Jump (lead guitar), and Ricky Parker (drums). The trio has been working together since then to create their unique sound, combining their individual styles to form something truly special. Comprised of powerful vocals, awe-inspiring guitar, and a dynamic rhythm section, Virginia Sweet has been rocking audiences from all over the world since their inception. From intimate acoustic shows to rocking out in stadiums, delivering a completely unique experience with each performance. Virginia Sweet recorded and released their debut EP “The Revival” in the summer of 2021.

Upon meeting with Multi-Platinum Grammy Award Winning Mikal Blue, the future was solidified. Spending the summer of 2022 in the studio, Virginia Sweet recorded 10 new songs at Revolver Recordings, in Thousand Oaks, CA. Armed with a batch of singles leading up to an album release, Virginia Sweet is ready to strike. The trio’s passion and dedication to their craft have made them a force to be reckoned with, through an infectious energy and captivating sound, Virginia Sweet is sure to be a hit wherever they go.
